This is a great contemporary, college hockey romance. Gigi and Ryder really suited each other. They worked through problems they faced together as a couple and had refreshingly mature responses to said problems. The greater cast of characters was also full of endearing friends and teammates.

I was surprised at how much I liked this book. I couldn’t stop reading, I loved the characters.

Spoiler:  not entirely sure I loved the marriage tidbit

I can't believe I've officially read all of the available books in this series universe 😭

I absolutely adored Gigi and Ryder and the way they were written. Gigi wasn't made out to be some damsel in destress and Ryder wasn't her savour in which she souled relied on.

I was giggling every time one of the original characters were mentioned my heart couldn't take it.

The only thing I disliked was how quickly everything moved at the end it was like the story was being built up for 400 pages and the last 90 were crazy but we vibe.

Also Wellsy will for ever be my number 1 girl even in her daughters book she still had the spotlight.

An early journal entry for this book can be summed up as “too long, no plot, stop reading BookTok recommendations”. While the second one is not true, the other two are. The book would have been far better had it been 200 or so pages shorter.
