I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy from the Great Escapes Book Tours. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. All Done With It by Maggie Toussaint is fast-paced, with lots of mystery and so much paranormal. The characters are well developed, and the setting is spot on.

Will Baxley save the world and her unborn child?

First, I have to say that this seventh installment is the first that I have read in this series and OMG! I wish I had found it before this book. If I had the time today, I would start with the first book in the Dreamwalker Mysteries.

Baxley Powell

Baxley is a dreamwalker, a crime consultant, a member of the Sinclair County Sheriff's department, mother, wife, and our main character. She is amazing. I love the way that she handles most things with thoughtfulness, kindness, and patience. However, the communication between Baxley and her husband is sweet, and the way that they understand each other and respect each other is so fabulous.

I think Baxley is such a sincere, courageous, and caring character. I really couldn't find many negatives, except that she needs to put her physical needs first, sometimes. Baxley won't be any good to anyone if she can't function properly.

All Done With It CRSam Mayes

Sam is Baxley's husband and a deputy sheriff. He also has powers similar to Baxley but not the same. Sam is worried about Baxley and their unborn child. He is very protective, sometimes to the extreme. However, it makes sense due to his character, upbringing, and Baxley's need to assist with the sheriff's cases.

It took me a bit to like and respect Sam, as I thought he was controlling. Yet, once I got to see the two together more, it became apparent that Baxley needs a little protection sometimes.
The Mystery

As you have read from the plot summary, there is a murdered jogger found on a lone road. The sheriff's department is called out, and Baxley witnesses a shadow form leave the deceased and enter one of the deputies. Then they find out that the couple who owns the house where the body is discovered is also missing. But that isn't the end of it, other people from the county are just disappearing. Baxley and the sheriff's department personnel need to figure this whole thing out and fast. There are also a few family things that add a touch of drama to the story. Oh, and Baxley gives birth to her baby. However, there are so many changes happening in this installment.
Five Stars

This story has the right amount of everything, I love a good mystery with some paranormal, add some romance, and it's even better. However, Ms. Toussaint nails everything, good vs. evil, the greater good, how our choices define us. I loved it. Therefore my rating is five stars for All Done With It by Maggie Toussaint. As soon as I can, I plan to go back and read the earlier books in the Dreamwalker Mysteries. I hope you decide to check them out too.
