Not gonna lie, I was really disappointed that the main characters Switched. I loved Robin and Edwin so much and was very hyped to read more about them..... oh well....
The story just felt uncomfortable. I couldn't take the characters seriously and the mystery aspect of the story feel flat. The villains were just dump and our main characters weren't really doing anything. I ended up spacing out quite much while listening to the audiobook. It was a downfall from the first one and I just hope that the last book will deliver a satisfying end to the Triology.

My least favorite installment in the series. Even the smut felt off, oddly clinical.

I ate up the main magical plot as always but I was looking forward to an angsty type of romance, a bit of a slow burn maybe, but the relationship kinda just happened I think?
