This has not a lot to do with anything, but my husband and I met at work - I had a *massive* crush on him, but never thought he'd feel the same way. Then it got to a point where we both knew we liked one another, but we were both hesitant to make moves for Reasons™️, and I swear it felt like we were constantly surrounded by electric sparks.

That's what this book felt like to me. And I freaking loved it.

This book was light, and fun, and fluffy, and funny, and such a perfect quick beach / summer read. Also - I don't mean light or fluffy in a bad way, there's tons of heart and some difficult topics explored in the book, but it's done in way that still allows you to float on all the butterfly feelings the rest of the book gives you.

Also, the tropes (single mom & brother's best friend) were A+++, chef's kiss, perfection, etc etc. 100% recommend and am very much looking forward to the second in this duology as well as more from Sarah Adams!

A fun, cute read. This was basically a cross between the brother's best friend trope and a little bit of a forbidden love trope.

I loved the flirting and banter in this book and found it fun, but did feel like the forbidden love part went on a little too long.

I also wanted more Levi. Every scene he was in was fun. I lov. how kids have no filter.

Overall a very fun read. I'm looking forward to the next book.
