I’m no book reviewer, but for me this was a breeze to read as soon as things kicked off, I enjoyed the story and universe greatly even if I scratched my head at some decisions.

This book is heavily based on fairy tales (Beauty and the Beast). I didn’t finish this book the first time a read it but this time I was successful. From what I’ve heard from Maas fans this is her worst book, which for the record was a good book. There were some things I thought should be different in the book but still a great read.

Really liked this book. It has the air of a wattpad story that is more polished. Maas sets up a good story with every mystery and story line paying off enough to have the book be fulfilling and leave you wanting more.

I can't wait to read the other books in this series and see where Feyre's and Tamlin's relationship goes especially now that she's High Fae.

I am now a very firm and ardent lover of the Maasverse! I can’t believe I’ve had this book for 9 years and just now read it! I loved every bit of it and cannot wait to continue with these characters and fall even more in love with this world!

Tamlin is so dull and you cannot convince me he had any chemistry with Feyre. Rhysand and Nesta saved this book from being 2 stars, honestly. I cannot understate how much more I enjoyed this book when Tamlin was kept as a silent prisoner lol.

The author really likes to grab onto a phrase and run it deep into the ground. Tamlin's jaw is always tensed, or tensing. Feyre could never paint that otherworldly, beautiful thing no matter how much she tried. Something scary happened and her bowels became watery. He brushed off a non-existent speck of dust. His eyes flickered. His throat bobbed. On the upside, this is a great book to make a drinking game for.
