Kate Quinn never ceases to dazzle. Very interesting. I wish it had had the author's notes with biographical information like some of the others. Otherwise terrific.

I truly loved this book. I don't hand out five stars willy nilly.

You can tell the amount of research and work that went into composing this book and giving the characters life. As the book progressed, each POV had me on the edge of my seat until it merged into a fantastic ending. This book had it all. Mystery, Romance, Espionage, and Truth. I want to read the memoir it pulled so heavily from. Such a fun book club book!

Loved the intricacies of this story and how unique it was addressing both wars and the female spies that existed within them. The epilogue made me add a star to the review as I realised a lot of the stories tied in were true and the research this author must have done was incredibly detailed.
May have been the time of term that I’m reading it but it was just very long and I struggled to stay motivated towards the end to finish it.

Predictable book set in WWI and post WW II. Characters are fairly one dimensional and plot and characters’ behavior are predictable
