🪷 3.5/5 for quality, 4/5 for enjoyment, 4.5/5 for how wonderful these audiobooks continue to be.

💀 I think that the "memory loss" trope is a hard one to get right because, by nature, there has to be a lot of telling rather than showing for the MC and the reader to get caught up in the story. Especially in a mystery, which is what this book is at its core, I hate when the reader is just told the answers. That's my biggest gripe with this book without getting spoilery.

👑 That said, I thoroughly enjoyed the ride that this series has been. I liked seeing how all the pieces laid out in Book 1 fit in by the end of this book. I liked the relationship between Emilia and her love interest. I liked the interplay between the Princes of Hell, which we got to see more of in this book. I didn't always love the pacing or the storytelling style, but I did enjoy the writing style (I hope that differentiation makes sense?).

🖤 Overall this was a super fun series that I would have binged in a few days if I didn't have to wait for my Libby holds to come in. Cute banter. Steamy tension. Enough mystery and side plots left that there is room for the series to continue even though I feel like this wrapped up Emilia's arc pretty well.

Wow! What an amazing ending on the Kingdom of Wicked trilogy! Kingdom of the Feared wrapped up all the mysteries perfectly. It is full of interesting creatures, more of those delightful princes of the Underworld, more action, more romance, and so much more!!

I really loved discovering and finally learning Vittoria and Emilia's history because I did NOT see some of it coming which I loved! I liked getting to see old characters pop up again that had even bigger roles to play within the story. The descriptions and imagery were again up to par though I wish there had been some more cooking lol.

I highly recommend reading along with the audiobook for the whole series if possible because the thrown in sound effects really add to the atmosphere of the book.

I really enjoyed the further character development and was surprised to find that I actually ended up liking some characters I thought I never would. Vittoria had to be my favorite of this novel because you really got to see what made her tick and even got a little look inside her mindset. Emilia is still my absolute favorite character overall and seeing her embrace herself and her power was so moving and empowering!!

I highly recommend this series to all fans of fantasy, anyone who likes books with the seven deadly sins, anyone who enjoys reading about delicious food, and/or anyone who loves strong female witches who are not afraid to do anything to protect their family and the ones they love.
