Amazing

It’s been a while since I read this book and I forgot how utterly amazing it is! So many twists and turns that you never know quite what’s coming! Love the dynamic between everyone and I know it just gets better. Tate James is one hell of an author and I swear has magic control over her words - not a single book ever disappoints.

Soft DNFing. This is a lot slower than I thought it would be, but I do plan on coming back to it eventually

Ugh. Such a good book if not for the OW drama. 30% through the first book and then i had to quit :(

One of the heroes starts dating/ kissing/ seducing the queen bee of the school (who is an asshole to the heroine) and the hero does nothing to stop her. He even flaunts his relationship with the queen bee in front of the heroine. Not to mention he’s shared girls multiple times with his twin brother and he’s still hung up on his ex

I've tried to read 4 RHs now in the span of a few days (The Academy of Assassins, this one, The Demon's Horns, and For the Hell of it - I didn't think it was necessary to review the others since I DNF-ed them) and I'm just flabbergasted that there have been such great reviews for these books, but they're so bad lol

I'm in a book slump and an RH slump. Where are the good RH series? Maybe I've read all the good ones and there aren't any left. That's exactly how I feel and I'm so sad.

I'm just gonna say that the dialogue and the telling and no showing ruined this book. Plain and simple. It had potential, but this read like a high schooler's first attempt at writing a romance and it's so blatantly obvious how much this author needs to improve her skills. Harsh? Maybe, but that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. She's got some die-hard fans, so sorry, not sorry to all of you?

I'll keep searching, but the era of fantastic RHs like The Curse of the Gods series and a few others seems to have ended.

Happy reading, Goodreads fiends.
