Always appreciate some mental health awareness with “Beverly” having bipolar I, and how she is able to lead a normal life the majority of the time with help/meds/therapy.

But okay, again with being in love after like 5 days (I know I know, it’s a romance. And written by Sparks. I knew this would happen going into it. But still.) He loooooves that Morgan shits on influencers even though she and her friends are influencers, so…I don’t mind the mention of TikTok, as this is a book written modern day. But she wants to be a “positive role model” and is just…idk, she struck me as “not.”

Also gosh darnit with the writing out every. detail. that doesn’t. matter. Steps in making food and what the food entailed- this is not a cookbook. The amount of things in the drawers at “Beverly’s”- ffs I’ll just clean my own drunk drawers and bedroom if I wanted that thanks.

This book was really good but super slow to me in the beginning. About half way I guessed the ending but not completely. So that gave it a bit of a surprise ending. The only reason it doesn’t get a 5 is because it felt like this book might be for younger people. I don’t know enough about Tik Tok and that to really connect to it. Besides that there were still pieces of Sparks older books throughout.

Thank you to my cousin Madison for recommending this book to me I did have a great time reading it. Honestly this book felt very slow for half the book, and to be honest felt kind of lost. The other half of the book however was interesting and I quite enjoyed it. I have always been a fan of Nicholas Sparks books, I love the romance sometimes it can be kind of cheesy but I do love it. I also think that Nicholas Sparks has a thing for country men, I think most of his characters are country men trying to find the love of their life. I cannot wait to read more books by Nicholas Sparks I have a whole bunch waiting at home for me to read, when I can get to them. I like that the fact that she still became famous, she still went back to the person that made her feel so special.

A very well written romantic novel with a huge plot twist that turns the events upside down and put the fresh love between Morgan and Colby to a big test; proving that love and pain are two sides of the same coin.

I really wish the ending was different. Poor Colby deserves to be happy too! The twist in the story I didn't see coming but it started out similar to another book of his and I was like did he really copy himself
