I enjoyed this one. Once I got 150 pages in, I couldn’t put it down. The way the story unfolded was unexpected for me while the familiarity of a sparks love story was still there.

Pretty standard love story, easy read. Loved the added storyline that seemed completely unrelated but tied in in the most surprising way towards the end. Highly recommend reading this in physical book form, the Audiobook recording of the main character was pretty corny, and the music was terrible.

Omg! Once again Nicholas sparks has done it! The book was amazing and the twist was something I didn’t see coming, I cried and felt I could connect to this book and the characters and the way he brought awareness to mental health issues

This was the first Nicholas Sparks book I’ve ever read. I watched some movies mostly ironically, but this was the first time I actually read a book written by him. I was vacationing in the Outer Banks, so I thought it would be fun to read some thing written by Soarks while on the beach. I had no idea how bad of a writer he actually was.

Thanks to NetGalley & Random House for my ARC in exchange for an honest review!
Admittedly I dropped off from being a Nicholas Sparks fan a few years ago. I loved his early stuff but then I'm not sure what happened. I am glad that I decided to give him another try.
This story is mostly told with two totally different characters/timelines that somehow weaves together beautifully in the end. Though I had it pretty much figured out and knew where it was headed I was still a little surprised in the end. It was overall a quick well written story so I'm glad I read it.

The entire time I was reading this book I could not for the life of me figure out how the two stories were going to connect. I knew they would, but it didn’t make sense to me where or when. And when they did. Oof. The portrayal of mental illness felt a little shameful and secretive at times, but it also felt truthfully indicative of how families handle it. Overall I enjoyed this book, and it kept me up way past my bedtime.

First off, I’ve read many books by Nicholas Sparks over the years, & it’s safe to say this was different than his other ones.
Both Beverly & Colby faced challenges & struggles, & watching them navigate them kept me reading
