Rounding up a little. I’m not sure why I thought this was a romance novel when I picked it up! I was wrong. It’s so tragic. But also beautiful and inspiring. Make sure you bring some tissue s!

wish i could give this a 4.9 bc that’s how i feel overall, but this story moved me to tears multiple times and i loved and rooted for the characters deeply. love the themes of science vs. religion throughout, and the many threads that all come together at the end.
