As my partner and I transition out of functional monogamy, I needed to find alternatives to [b:More Than Two: A Practical Guide to Ethical Polyamory|21955937|More Than Two A Practical Guide to Ethical Polyamory|Franklin Veaux|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1414094012l/21955937._SX50_.jpg|41263505], which I no longer consider a trustworthy source due to the (sadly unsurprising) history of harm caused by one of the co-authors.

Explores and deconstructs all the assumptions about what a relationship has to be, and then offers alternatives to each principle. Great introduction to relationship anarchy (among others), lots to think about

An important read. If only I’d had this information earlier in life, but better late than never. This book changed my life in the greatest of ways.

Full of so much information I would have loved to have had decades ago, but still, better late than never and I look forward to the rest of my life and exploring relationships with a whole new understanding of what’s possible
