I’m not really sure I agree with the title based on how the characters acted in this book. Sure, there were a lot of fucking shit up and going after other gang bangers, and we have been told throughout all the other books that the twins are known as ‘The Terror Twins’ which I’m guessing is to do with the torture. Caden also loves to torture but the others not so much. I can see why we are supposed to see the softer side of these guys because of the way they act with Bridget but I haven’t seen anything that screams ‘psycho’ yet, or maybe I’m desensitised I don’t know.
This is the only book in the Abbs Valley series where I feel the MFC hasn’t been different from what we were made to believe. She’s a loud, foul mouth girl who says what’s on her mind and is so upfront it’s inspiring. She hasn’t changed even though those things are the reason her ex cheated on her and is the source of her insecurities towards her relationship with the guys.
Not sure how I feel about Nikolay possibly coming into the picture. I think it would have been better with just the twins, caden and ghost and banger but we will see how Nik comes into it in the next book.
I didn’t really understand how they got banger involved. He seems like the odd one out (besides Nik). Although he is one of my faves because of his relationship with his parents.
We already knew Ghost and Caden had a will they/won’t they going on and I’m glad we have seen their ups and downs in the relationship. I love Caden he’s just a cheeky, down to earth guy who happens to run a gang. I think we would be friends and that’s what I like about this one I feel like I could be friends with all the characters.
I didn’t read the trigger warnings as they don’t bother me but I will applaud the author for putting in the trigger warning before the chapter towards the end involving Caden. When he took Bridget to his meeting I just knew something like that would happen to him and it broke my heart a little bit as we’ve been hearing about his recovery since Les’ book.
We haven’t really seen much of Les and her guys or Evie and her guys yet I’m hoping we see them in the next book. I’m looking forward to seeing if they can take down Ghosts dad and also what is up with Tink and his crew. I’m guessing he’s in love with Caden but that’s just wishful thinking that it’s nothing bad about Caden’s past.

Okay the plot was WAY better in this one than all I have, BUT the romance wasn’t as good. Cuz they’ve known Bridget for a while they just kinda fell into it. The cliffhanger was just freaken rude so I can’t wait for book 2 I’m starting now!

I absolutely loved this book so much! I love Bridget and who she is. I love ghost and all his issues even if he is a twatwaffle at times. I love Caden and all his joy and laughter. I love alexey and all his psycho crazy protectiveness. I love Dimitri and all his crazy self. I love banger and all his fun loving hard self. I love Nikolay and all his ‘I can’t have fun’ attitude (until the end). I love all of these characters so much! I am glad I read there books first but I can’t wait to go read the other characters in this interconnected duets series. I can’t wait to see what book two in this duet has in store. And finally I can’t wait to see ghost get his head out of his ass lol
