Omg!!! After the very average and boring second duet (Evie is the worst kind of FMC in gang type book) I was so wary of this one. I shouldn't have been.
This book was so so great. I literally stayed up way too early to finish. The cliffie is BRUTAL. It absolutely shattered me and wrecked my heart. I seriously can't believe that is what happened and am still ruined.
The plot is non stop, and so engaging. It is perfectly balanced with the harem developing as well so nothing seems to be rushed here but unlike duet 2, reader is not bored with shopping trips, lunches silly girly stuff (I want badass women in these types of books).
It's rare in RH that the whole harem is great, especially when it larger. While one member is not in book 1 often, I don't mind him. The rest...are top notch dudes. Honestly love them all. Caden is special though. So glad I have book 2, I refuse to read this author before both books are out. She is the queen of cliffies (and really cringe endings lol) IIWII
