Second time reading it, I STILL LOVE IT AS MUCH AS THE FIRST TIME!! Ughhh, I forgot the feelings some of the scenes cause so I enjoyed reading it again. Johnny & Shannon are still the best time ever & they will always hold a very special place in my heart 🥹. This time around I was freaking out over different scenes, literally stopped breathing when they hugged, THE TENSION WAS TOO MUCH & I COULDN’T HANDLE IT. And just like the love was there, the pain was too, it didn’t catch me off guard & affected my mental health as much as the first time, since I knew it was coming. Still hate Teddy & strongly strongly dislike Mary. I can’t wait to get to the 2nd book again & start to see Shannon thriving 🥹. Ughhh, I LOVE THIS SERIES 🥹🥰

It’s such an amazing book, however it’s a bit slow at times. Very emotional at times, but also funny. Recommend reading TW before reading book:)

I was so invested in Shannon that I could not put this down and the setting and time is such a breath of fresh air

Such a lovely book! Such a quick read, never cried so much at the ending of a book! Bring on the next one!

TRIGGER WARNING: Domestic Violence, Child Abuse

All I can say is that although a whole lot of nothing happened romantically between our main characters, I WAS HOOKED. It had everything I love... slow burn, great character arcs, memorable characters main and side AND a cliffhanger ending. Ate this book up and I am more than ready to read the next one and possibly the entire series.
