This was a long book and honestly I don’t mind longer books. I enjoyed the book but did feel the book could have gone without a few moments. But honestly it was gut wrenching and heartbreaking at so many moments. God how I wish I had the next book already. This was a good read though and I definitely will continue with the series.

 I don't usually feel old reading books but I felt REALLY old reading this. I felt like over half of this was dialogue? This was *almost* a DNF for me, but honestly, I flew threw it and if I could ignore the writing issues and just vibe with it, I enjoyed parts of it. So we're landing on a 3. I would have ate this series up in my early twenties, but alas, I am an ancient crone
