Picked this up solely to read “To a Destroyer of Souls”, which was a poem written in response to Oscar Wilde’s love affair with the author’s cousin.

The poem, written by a closeted homosexual, (see his famous poem The Dark Angel), viciously attacked Wilde while also lamenting his own repressed feelings. It’s heartbreaking. Utterly, completely heartbreaking.
