Quick, easy read. Very surface level, nothing too complicated and not a lot of self reflection by any of the characters. Pretty low stakes for a marriage of convenience? Very, very kitschy. Very predictable. Spivey scenes were okay but she lost me at calling the vagina the “cleft” I just can’t get on board with that.

I really enjoyed this book but I'm not sure what I would rate it in terms of 1-5 stars. I loved reading about a PhD student and I liked seeing how Victor is just like the studious student-y history student (no better way to describe him, sorry). Pandora's family were a delight to read about although I feel like there were quite a few things that were built up to that weren't really resolved satisfyingly.
Dante's sneaking out felt anticlimactic and the cousin's schemes were sort of foiled easily.

I will say the logistics of vampires and human/vampire relationships were sort of skimmed over or not explicity detailed. I can't believe that sunscreen is enough to let vampires go outside? Even if it is magical sunscreen?? How has no one thought of this. 
Overall, a fun read. I did not like that Victor called Pandora 'Pandy' though. As a nickname, that is just weird.
