1 Star for the idea everything else bad. Plottwists? Boring and predictable, characters? Annoying, writing? Bad.

This should’ve stayed a stand-alone this is a very bad sequel in my opinion

I’m going to start being more generous with my stars… this sequel to One of Us is Lying provides a story that takes place in the same world as the first book but with different characters than the first. The drama and suspense keeps you wanting to read (or listen) to each new chapter. I am excited for the next one to come out this summer!

Although the plot is pretty okay, most of the supporting characters, and some of the main ones, are riddled with outdated, two-dimensional stereotypes that are generally just boring to read about

its okay...
but why was Knox punched at the construction site... and he was hit so hard he lost his memory and got a concussion???

so the little brother, Owen, is 13, why did he know about Maeve and Knox's...issue... and why would he say anything, what good did that do???

Also idk if this is a spoiler, but its HUGE cliff hanger, i flipped the page and was like what, its over?
