Absolutely incredible. Reads like a piece of fiction which only makes the crime itself all the more shocking.

DNF; I may come back to this one in the future but it’s just too dark for me right now. I don’t think true crime style books are my cup of tea.

Currently the saddest book I’ve ever read.

beautifully written--a psychological portrait of the killers, especially perry. not my typical genre but still very readable. made me feel conflicted and sad, both for the killers and the killed. capote's observational ability really makes the book. 4.75/5 stars 

Id like to go back to this as I don't think I gave it the respect it deserved. Had a busy month so wasn't able to focus on it as much as I'd have liked.

Its written beautifully often reading like a modern day documentary
