I listened to this in audio form, and it just didn't grip me the way I wanted it to. I found myself zoning out and then losing track and I was just so confused. The parts of the story I did listen to seemed really great, I just think for me I should've read it physically in order to get the full enjoyment.

the authors writing was really enjoyable.
one line that’s been stuck in my head is: “Nothing worth raising an umbrella against.”
the context it was said in and the phrase itself seems so mundane, but it’s been running through my mind for days.
really liked the descriptions. they were achingly pretty at times, well rounded and the perfect framework for further imagination.
the two main characters were very understanding of, and caring with eachother, which was beautiful. they truly saw eachother which had me in awe of them. idk dude, they just knew each other on such a deep level after, like, 3 minutes it was insane, but also really beautiful. i’m really struggling to find the words here but they were so cautious of each others feelings and noticed things that they would later remember and i guess that that’s what being in love is.
