Ogólnie ciekawy system magiczny, niesamowita rodzinka (Moja mama ma cię na celowniku, a babcia naprawia czołg) i do tego z humorem.
Niestety ja nie podzielam opinii innych, że ten romans był świetnym dodatkiem. "Moja rodzina jest zagrożona, ale o jeju to ciało! - CO? Jak można w ogóle mieć takie myśli w tej sytuacji?! Przyznaję, że ich przekomarzania i ratowanie siebie nawzajem sprawiły, że nawet ja zauważyłam chemię pomiędzy nimi, lecz nienawidzę tego - moje ciało myśli jedno, a mózg drugie. Eh. Gdyby to zostało pominięte, to od razu całość byłaby lepsza. Przynajmniej bohaterka jest na tyle silna i stanowcza, że jej końcowe decyzje mi się podobały.

I thought this was a good little book. Only 2.5 detractors. 1. Characters need to stop spilling their guts and/or threatening to kill people "if you hurt him" or whatever. Like, three people did it. So one can only assume this is a world of psychopaths.
2. The scene setting got a little muddled sometimes. Could be hard to keep tracking of where everyone was and what was happening.

I purchased the first two books in the series when they were on sale and several people recommended them. I purchased just the first two books and I regret it...I should have bought ALL OF THEM. This book is fantastic! The character development is great, the setting is robust, and the banter is witty. Nevada is surrounded by gritty women who have seen some shit, she suffers no fools, and puts her family first always. There is good foreshadowing and just really fantastic writing. I've already started the next book and purchased the third. Start reading this right now!
