I wanted an easy to read urban fantasy romance and this was exactly that. I liked the world and the characters were fine. I did laugh a few times at some of the asides Nevada makes. My main issue with this book is they the main love interest Connor acts is a little problematic and gross at times but not in an outstandingly awful way where I feel the need to attach a trigger warning. I think he just falls heavily into the weird masculinity that is often displayed in romance novels. A little gross but not shocking and tbh I'm probs gonna read the next book in the series.
