4.25 Stars. I really enjoyed this book. It was unique in how it wove magic within the world and the historical aspect of it was really nice. I also like how there were a few unanswered questions that will most likely be answered in the next book in the series. However, there were times were the book seemed to drag a bit for me, so it was hard to get through even though I was listening to it via audiobook. I do want to know what happens next so I'll start on the next audiobook soon since it was available on Libby.
