This is one of the funniest books I have EVER listened to. Don’t read it - listen to it. It’s short and sweet, and worth every minute. I want to meet Justin Halpern’s dad - what a character! 😂

This was a very quick read; I read it in one sitting. It was laugh-out-loud funny. Great book.

Hysterical, laugh-out-loud funny. So many of the stories Halpern tells about his childhood, and how his father reacted, are relate-able. Even if I couldn't relate, I could picture Justin's dad in my head, spewing his words of wisdom. I devoured this in one sitting, not wanting to do anything else until I had read the whole thing.

I love to laugh, and I appreciate people that don't BS around and just tell it like it is, which is how Mr. Halpern is. Though the language gets profane and the words the dad says may seem harsh, it was clear to me (especially by the end) that his dad loves his son, so very much. There is a lot of care and love in all the sh*t this dad said. Read it!

Flew through this book in a day. This book is not only hilarious, but kind of touching too. Halpern is a darn good writer.

It was an okay read, but it wasn't quite as exciting as I thought it would be.

This is a few hundred pages too long, and it gets old quickly. But it's funny. If you enjoy Halpern's tweets, you'll enjoy a few stories every few weeks. It's unlikely this is meant to be read as a "novel".

It's funny in different areas, but the book wasn't for me. This book is in the format of just listening to a list of things his dad said. It's a short audiobook and probably good for a car.
