What made the book special to me was that it told a love story without the description overwhelming be-all-and-end-all logic out the window emotions, but it revolved around financial stability, social status, family politics, pride, and prejudice, etc.

Elizabeth's radical personality compared to the women of the time, what they wanted and what was expected of them, made her take such bold decisions that it was really pleasing to see that it all worked out in the end.
