Dearest, loveliest Pride and Prejudice... I fell in love with you once again. Truly, I think that this book has the potential to please and amuse anyone. Equal parts biting, romantic, and funny, this is one of the most famous novels of all time for a reason.

A nice adaptation, well acted and the modernisms help for understanding purposes and are well interlaced with the original text.
I feel a bit bad rating it 3 stars, it's quite a lovely book in places, and the ending is satisfying. But it's also just........ so boring. It just goes on and on and on, there's no need for it to be so long.
Rosamund Pike did a beautiful job with this audiobook, I definitely wouldn't have been able to stick with it without her.

I can't believe I've never actually read this in its entirety after seeing the miniseries about a hundred times. Despite how closely the series followed the book, it was still interesting to see the character development here and the minor ways they seemed different than how they were interpreted for the screen.
