I really need these characters to grow up. What used to be funny is now bordering on annoying. However, the book does have value in that it makes me laugh and requires no intelligent thought whatsoever. Sometimes, I need that in a book. I can pretty well guarantee that I will not remember anything about this book in 24 hours.

Stephanie Plum books start to blend together to me, but I still find them hilarious. I did find the new love interest story line pretty funny as well as the team working out of Mooner's van and the dancing bear. I think it's cool that she's got two hot men in her life - who says Steph needs to settle down!

Another 5 stars as usual, BUT, I'm a die hard Morelli girl so I really don't like all this Stephanie and Ranger business...

Lula sure makes me laugh. in this latest Plum book, Stephanie and Lula are chasing down an old man who thinks he is a vampire. He bites (or gums) Lula and for the rest of the book she thinks she is turning into a creature of the night. The plot is really about Stephanie's love life and a series of murders happening near the Bailbond office but I read these books for the laughs.

I love that there is more Ranger action!

This was not one of my favorites. There wasn't enough new storyline or old relationships. It was kind of lacking on both sides.

Stephanie's got major man problems. Between Grandma Belle's two curses and the amount od doughnuts she eats, how is she able to keep up with all of her FTAs?

I can always count on this series for making me laugh a ridiculous amount of times -- still no qualms with it being formulaic. Or for guessing the killer 1/4 of the way through. Keep 'em coming.

I really liked the first 8 or 10 books in this series. Fun, sexy and funny. But since about book 15, the plot has stalled. Ranger or Joe? Come on . . . losing interest here. I'm also curious as to whether Evanovich is actually still writing the books, as along with the stale plot, the quality hasn't been all that consistent recently.

It's been a while since I've read one of these books and I remembered why I used to love these books and also why I stopped reading them.
