I enjoyed hearing the SNL stories and how some iconic characters created as well as his friendship with Chris Farley. Though he's pretty crass at times and telling the reader about his love of coke in the epilogue is a pretty odd choice. Still entertaining enough to listen through in a day.

Reads exactly like you're listening to David Spade talk. A few sweet, hilarious sections on his friendship with Farley; a few gross stories I'd have preferred not to know. :) More honest about his own failings than I expected. A quick funny read.

Listened to this on audiobooks, as narrated by mr Spade himself, and it was excellent. Coming off sometimes as a confident brat, he shows his self depreciating and hard working side here, and it only makes him funnier.
I actually wish this book was longer, and I listened to his voice for 6 hours! Highly recommend.

Probably around a 3.5 stars. The audio was good. Enjoyed a lot of the stories, but the small asides and some remarks really missed the mark for me.

Almost interesting? Barely interesting. unfortch.

I listened to this audio book and would definitely recommend it. Spade delves into the early 90s SNL years, talks about his friendship with Chris Farley and behind the scenes of making some of his classic movies (i.e. Tommy Boy). Very entertaining and highly inappropriate.

Love a good ole fast read biography. David Spade cracks me up.

I am not a big follower of David Spade's career but I was in need of a funny biography to offset work stress. I found it funnier than his character roles and stand up (like a roofie joke...really?!). I found his self aware, self conscious humour funny, honest, relatable, and endearing. the SNL bits were very interesting and took my back to my youth when snl and listening to adam sandler cds were my life. but when he talks about women, i cringe and want to give up on life. even though he looks better at 50, the frat style "let's get laid" is so tiiired.
