I did not like this book. I enjoyed it but I did not like it. 
It was a quick read(+.5) and I like that it used Scot’s (+.5 stars). It holds such a huge space in Scottish literature so I’m glad I read it (+1 star) but I would not recommend it.

A truly unique book. Like everyone talks about the movie and stuff, but the book (although definitely still very popular lol) isn’t spoken about enough comparatively for how special it is. Sort of difficult to get into because of the phonetics, but once you’re in there’s no getting out.
