Not a rom com, it’s barely a rom.
It’s more about the gymnastics, but not detailed  enough to make you care.

Good but not great. I enjoyed reading about the gymnastics world and definitely rooted for Avery but I also felt like it wrapped up too neatly and felt preachy at times. The main love interest was a little too one dimensional for me. I enjoyed the sports more than the romance and I don't think I've ever said that before.

Thank you to Edelweiss, Atria Books, & Simon & Schuster for the opportunity to read and review this book before it's publication date!

I want to just say that I liked the gymnastics aspect of this book.
Everything with Avery and Hallie felt so relatable and heartwarming.
As for romance I was disappointed at Ryan, but he makes up for his mistakes and they are cute together.

Furthermore, I finished this book in one sitting!

This was a really light, fluffy read after reading a lot of fantasy lately. Although there was a ton of gymnastics terminology and lingo, it was still easy to follow and kind of picture in my mind. I didn’t find the relationship between Avery and Ryan to be believable though. I did like Avery’s overall growth in this and it was nice to have a happy ending.

This book was frustrating. There were a lot of different reasons that it was frustrating too. The main character was rather whiny and while it does get better, she is still really self-centered. The love interest also does something that really pissed me off and she forgives him really quickly for how bad it was. There were some entertaining moments but ultimately not worth the time.
