Ok so once again i didn't know it was book 2 but it's not that hard to follow.you understand what happened in book 1 after a while.if i find book 3 for 1euro i will get it.it was enjoyable
Oh man, I'm starting to love to hate these characters. John is a standoff-ish jerk most of the time, Pierce is constantly blaming herself for everything bad that happens while simultaneously never taking responsibility for her actions, no one has manners (please, thank you, excuse me), and everything randomly goes to shit all the time. I don't really get it, and it's reading extremely juvenile, but it's fun to listen to! Mostly because I find myself rolling my eyes and sighing in frustration a lot.
No improvement over the first one. Will not be continuing series.
This was much better than Abandon! It had more action and I liked that there were more characters that were introduced! That ending was cruel and ended that has the reader anticipating the final book!
Anfangs hatte ich Angst, dass ich vielleicht zu hohe Hoffnungen hatte, doch das erwies sich als falsch. Es war für mich perfekt geschrieben. Ich liebte es, mich wieder in diese Welt fallen zu lassen und zu sehen, wie die Beziehung der beiden sich änderte und beide an ihren Aufgaben wuchsen.
Außerdem gefiel es mir sehr, dass nun mehr über Johns Vergangenheit herauskam und dann noch einige Personen hinzukamen.
Im ersten Teil war es schön, dass man sich größtenteils auf John und Pierce konzentrierte. doch es gefiel umso besser, als dann noch weitere Charaktere zur wunderbaren, spannenden Handlung beitrugen.
Außerdem muss ich sagen, dass ich die Sache mit Hope etwas seltsam fand, aber später ziemlich amüsant.
Gehört definitiv auch zu einer meiner neuen Lieblingsreihen!

I really enjoyed this book. I just felt like Alex was over reacting on his part and that John keeps thinking that Pierce is going to hate him even though she says she never will!

I was really excited to read this series again, but I definitely grew up and have higher expectations for books now. Hope the next book is better than I remember.
I usually love Meg Cabot,but did not not much here.
