I originally bought Jo Nesbø’s books because a local bookstore was closing and the covers were cool. I forgot about them, and then my therapist recommended his books and I remembered I had them. Took me a while to get here, and I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick read but a GREAT one. I’m immediately starting the next book

I haven't read any Jo Nesbo before (or any Scandi-Noir for that matter.....) and I was pleasantly surprised.

I was looking for a short page-turner and I got it! Very concise and spare and, in places, darkly humorous. The descriptions of the weather, in particular, the snow, made me feel cold as I read, or was it just the impending threat ......

I read it in a day, easily, looking forward to reading the sequel novella that concludes the story.
