Wasn't sure if I'd finish this book if I am being completely honest as the FMC did irritate me at times. The whole book was based around purity culture in the Christian religion, which was interesting to learn about a world I knew existed but didn't know much about. The Olivia's character did in fact grow as the book went on which is what did redeem the book in my opinion.

Overall I'd say it was worth the read, if not for the plot then for the couple good spicy scenes it had

Having grown up being inundated with purity culture, going to Silver Ring Thing conferences, and being told to “keep your duct tape sticky” (barf), there was a lot in this book that I could identify with. I didn’t have my first kiss until I was 22, so I can definitely relate to Livvy

I was told this was Polin (Bridgerton) fanfic and I’ve never downloaded and read something faster.

I saw the author talking about the book on my FYP and I was discovered the book that way.

Overall, I like the premise/general idea of the book. However I wasn’t the biggest fan of the writing, and I was frustrated from the lack of depth that the characters had. It felt very rushed and forced, and it felt like I was reading something from Wattpad.

I definitely enjoyed the book for the most part and got through it pretty quick , but I can’t see myself picking it up again.
