Damn I loved Sloane and Tyler. They were amazing together. My only problem with this book was the fact that the first 100 pages seemed like the main story was forgotten, and replaced with sex. But after having finished the book I have moved on and am completely in love with this story!

I kind of like to go into books a bit blind. So I was very surprised by this book, definitely not what I thought it might be like (and I don't mean that in a bad way, just trying to avoid spoilers for other who like go in blind haha). Wonderfully spicy, lacking a bit of plot which I don't really mind if I'm in the mood.

The ending completely ruined it for me. You made this huge life altering choice that determined the trajectory of your life and yet it takes you a split second to make a similar decision again?

3.75 stars but I'm rounding up because J. Kenner made Heated extra Hawt!

Boy oh Boy is this book so frustrating. I mean Tyler and Sloane use each other in so many different ways. But I guess that's what makes the book so good. That they are such a good match without even knowing it.

Thanks to netgalley for a free read in exchange for a review. I loved it. Sloane and Tyler had amazing chemistry...right off the charts. I loved how they came together, and boy did the sparks fly between them. This is my second in the series, and I loved it better than the first one. This one was well written and although the plot was secondary to the erotica, it was still a great tale. Overall entertainment was five stars. I couldn't put it down!

I enjoyed this story for the most part. The book revolved around Tyler Sharp and Sloane Watson. The former, being one of the trio businessmen of Chicago that are successful and unafraid of getting their hands dirty. The latter is a cop on the search of her friend, and ends up tangled in Tyler's sheets, both for her mission and for personal interests.
The first half of the book included too much of Sloane's internal dialogue that I found a little redundant at times and tedious overall. It was predictable and I found myself skimming it so I could get to the more eventful and amusing real dialogue between her and Tyler. I really liked the give and take between these main characters. The ending was rather predictable and thus didn't wow me. Overall, that's a theme in my take away from this book: its un-remarkableness.

This was a hot read. Tyler and Sloane's chemistry was unbelievable. My biggest complaint was the "I love yous" two days after they met. It took me out of the book a bit.
The writing was awesome as I've come to expect from this author.
