I'm teetering between 4 and 5 stars here. The second half is full of fast, breakneck action, the first half had a little too much heroine second thoughts - and we just don't learn enough about Temi's hosts, but that's totally my curiosity speaking.

Artemis travels to an alternative dimension to learn how to battle the monsters that have been invading earth. In a nutshell.

It's good but short. Only 70 pages.

As is typical in her series, Lindsay writes novellas that take place in between the regular novels. They tend to add an additional dimension to the story, and this one is no exception. If you've read the first book, it's well worth reading this one before moving on to #2, Thorn Fall.

It was good cause we get to see more 'Elf' stuff but I'm just not a big fan of Temi. Improvement from the first book sure, but still eh.
