Honestly, I didn't really enjoy this book. Generally I'm a big fan of Peter David's writing, but here it just felt a bit forced.

The lightheartedness that usually comes with a Spider-Man story is gone here. I know it's in the future and it's supposed to be all evil corporations and so forth, but everyone is just so emo.

Miguel O'Hara is not a particularly likeable character, and the support cast isn't very interesting. The art is nice for the most part and Spider-Man 2099's costume is super cool, but I wouldn't really recommend this to anyone.

Readable, but just barely. Basically a knockoff future - a little bit Bladerunner a little bit Star Wars I. The art was all garish colors, the characters mostly irritating though I did like Miguel's computer. But it ended a little better than it started, perhaps the next book will be better.

Nothing Mind blowing, but a unique take on the world of Spider Man. Love that they seem to be putting old villain's in new light as a change. A nice, quick, engaging read.
