Very silly! Still enjoyable. I felt like the pacing was somehow off, but not enough to stop me from reading.
This was a fun story, nothing extraordinary but fun none the less. Definitely some plot holes but over all a good read. What really through me off was the end, not the content but just how abrupt it was. I needed at least three more chapters to feel like the book was actually over.
This was my first full-length novel by Cole and I was not disappointed. The chemistry between her mains was on point and she had well-developed characters that felt like real people. On top of that, she balanced both the fake relationship trope and a contemporary knight escorts princess trope well.

This book had great vibes. I can't really describe how nice it is to just read a good tropey f/f book where the MCs desperately need therapy and none of it is belabored, it's just real tropey and things keep happening. The ending is real HFN but I liked it.
