This was a very fun read. I started it to cheer myself up, and it absolutely did the job. The chemistry between the characters was fantastic, and there were some parts that had me laughing out loud. Definitely a great read for anyone who likes funny and romantic books.

Bez is a delight but the last 10% of the book was the best part of it. I think this may have been a better as a novella? Something about it dragged on for too long for me. However I did appreciate the slow burn. By the end Makeda wasn't as grating since she didn't have anything to prove but near the beginning I'd had enough of her bitchiness that was actually supposed to be she growing a backbone.
All in all, it was okay... maybe a little dissapointing.

I don't believe in this end. Although it was lowkey expected, I'm mad as hell bc for me nothing was truly resolved. We spend the whole book with one goal and it took forever to get there.
