There's no mystery in a book where the reader always knows more than the characters, and it's deeply frustrating to experience the same events over and over again from different POVs, already knowing the outcome. The audiobook was very well narrated though!

This is a beautiful book that is incredibly atmospheric. I felt like I was in each of the places. I loved the tie in to real people and how the story developed. It is a slow development but it is layered and worth it.
