Thoroughly enjoyed this read! There was some truly beautiful and thoughtful writing, and the storyline held my interest.

It may have been a tad bit long and there were a few loose ends
(like what was the point of making Linus such a creepy brother/old man? I didn’t fully understand where she was going with that. If it was just to have a receive to get Eliza back at Blackhurst, I feel like she could have gone about it differently)
, but the ending was still super solid.

I can’t wait to read more by this author!

It was a bit slow-paced, but the story unfolds so beautifully and is so intricate! Morton is a great weaver of epic family sagas.

There's no mystery in a book where the reader always knows more than the characters, and it's deeply frustrating to experience the same events over and over again from different POVs, already knowing the outcome. The audiobook was very well narrated though!
