This book was pretty good overall. The whole velociraptor thing kind of got on my nerves, but aside from that, I enjoyed it. The male narrator did a solid job, while the female narrator (Erin Mallon) felt a little over the top for me—but to be fair, I usually don’t care for her narration style. That said, the story itself was good, and I really liked the characters.

I liked this book. I enjoyed the characters and their chemistry. However, this was heavier way heavier than I expected. There were parts that had me laughing and giggling, but there were some heavy parts that brought out a lot of emotions. All in all I liked the book but know it will be an emotional roller coaster.
