Shrouded in mystery this is an enthralling fantasy novel, that kept me gripped from start to finish. It makes beautiful use of an eponymous narration, giving a personal insight into the thoughts and feelings of the protagonist, as they explore and begin to understand the picturesque setting they reside within.

Loved it. I really loved the voice of the novel and the way it reads. It’s also just a really cool story with very compelling characters. I want more!! I am excited for a reread

It was an interesting enough easy read, with some beautiful wording and a good basic premise, but left a bit to be desired. Honestly I was disappointed with the quality of this book given how highly it has been praised. I found it to be confusing and underdeveloped with much repetition and some major plot holes. Was worth my time given how quick and mildly entertaining it was, but not sure if I’d recommend it.

What a beautiful magical book. Full of whimsy and a bit of darkness. I really enjoyed this one. Fantastic read!

I had to hold myself back from flipping to the back of the book to see how it ends. What a beautiful and thoughtful piece of writing. I am forever changed by the Beauty of the House and its infinite Kindness.
