yeah…. next time invest in therapy and keeping EVERYONE safe, not just your own kid. these characters just frustrated me to no end. everything could have been avoided if they’d just invested in therapy honestly

Great premise but the execution left a little to be desired. It was a nice change of pace from what I had been reading and the narrator did a great job. The author crafted two characters that were hard to like but kept you interested in learning more - and that takes some talent.

What have I just read??? I honestly don't know how to review this book without giving anything away but I'll try my best!
This book was amazing from start to finish! I never knew what was going to happen next and the suspense was on point. I usually guess what is going to happen next with these kind of books but I couldn't keep track of the twists and turns.
The characters were so complex and brimming with secrets. I love the way that we were spoon fed little details at a time that built up to the whole picture. The relationship between the two main characters was so much more complicated than I ever expected.
I've loved reading this book so much that I'm running to fill my bookshelf with the rest of John Marrs' books!
