I'm going to make this short and sweet. I still love Faythe. I know most people can't stand her, but I will love how bad-ass and "I-dont-take-no-shit" she is. So for that I loved the book.

But no, it wasn't as exciting and thrilling as [b:Stray|793399|Stray (Shifters, #1)|Rachel Vincent|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1298651423s/793399.jpg|779381] was, but I'm okay with that.

My heart hurts at the pause of relationship her and Mark are in. But I'm sure I will get over that.

Still love the series and will be continuing.

So as short and sweet as that was, onward we go!

If it's even possible, this book was even better than the first. I hope Faythe and Marc work things out. They belong together. I can't wait to read the next one.

Lots of thrilling suspenseful moments in Rogue as Faith and the guys go in search the the cats. This was a page turning who done it and why in many aspects.

Faith and Marc are walking a tight rope as far as their relationship goes. He wants what she doesn't seem to want to give. As certain situations comes to light, Marcs tensions grow.

The minute you read about Andrew you know there is some doom and gloom coming up soon. But of course that is in the next book.

I thought this was a solid finish to some plot lines that were begun in book one, and I like the addition of another woman character because that was lacking in the first story. Definitely going to continue and see what happens next.

I feel many different things about this book. I like it a lot from the first book. I think that Rachel Vincent's writing and plot devices improved a lot from the first book to the next and I can only hope that they keep on doing so.

There was so much that happened in this book and it really left off with a lot of set up for the upcoming books in the series. The main story arc is finished from the first book. I don't know if there are plans to follow the the storyline with the werecats who are buying the stolen tabbies or not. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

For me you could see Faythe growning up a little more in this book from the last. She's not completely there yet, but she's on her way. She's really trying to learn and take her job seriously even though it's only supposed to be for 2 1/2 years. I did feel bad for her everything seemed to be blamed on her because she accidentally infected Andrew. I think that even though in the first book (and previous to the storyline) she was a bit impulsive she would never to anything to intentionally hurt the Pride, but I think sometimes the guys seem to overlook that aspect of her.

In this book her and Marc's relationship is really put to the test. I have mixed feelings about things between them. Anyone can tell that they both really care about each other. But neither of them are really ready yet for what their commitment means. I side with Marc in the fact that he has been hurt badly by Faythe in the past (yet he still sticks around). I don't think it's too much to ask for a little reassurance from her. On the flip side of that, however, does he really want Faythe to agree to something that she isn't sure about? I have to give credit to Faythe for sticking to her feelings and not telling him just what he wants to hear. True it would make everything better, for now, but in the long run that little lie mught have been the thing to bring them down completely. They really need to take a step back and find their way back to their relationship if that's the correct path for them (look at me talking about them like they are real people :))

This book didn't leave me with a sense of dread at them not being sure about their relationship (which they haven't solved by the end yet), rather I feel comfortable with the storyline as it blends into the next novel. I can only hope that the rest of the stories can be old with such finesse. I don't know how many stories I've read where the author leaves things until the next book. Usually it make me anxious waiting to find out what happens next. But this book was oddly reassuring. Maybe bcause of the way the characters have already been set up, we know that in the end it will all work out? I don't know but I can't wait to continue Faythe's story.

UGHHHHH!

Okay before I dove into this review.. I was young and naïve because I was going to give this 4 stars. However, since I started book 3 this morning.. I've come to the conclusion that everyone in this book is fucking annoying.

Faythe.. first off, I hate the way her name is spelled. Second, she's annoying. Third, she makes terrible fucking decisions and probably needs to be monitored at all times. Fourth, DID SHE REALLY THINK IT WAS OKAY TO LIE TO THE LOVE OF HER LIFE??? Fifth, obvi he isn't the one if she thinks she can lie to him so easily. Sixth, Andrew is fucking psycho and deserved better.

Last but not least, Mark sort of deserved better but since he also annoyed the ever living shit out of me.. I hated him just as much. If not more.

Spoiler alert: I hated everyone.

Besides all of that nonsense, these people are like terrible detectives. Heck, terrible shifters. They need a day job really. I don't even want to dive into this book review anymore. Okay, so Andrew somehow got infected and become a crazy ass stray. He's killing a shit ton of hookers that end up sort of looking like Faythe (but honestly.. not really). Then there's Mark and Faythe, who have terrible communication skills.. but the chemistry is there. Or something. Then there's Faythe who gets creepy phone calls from her ex and just acts like that's okay. She doesn't tell anyone about it until it's too late.

Everyone acts all butt hurt and get very annoying. All of this whining made my ears hurt and my eyes because of all the rolling they did. Overall, this book was a disaster.

Faythe, Marc and the whole rest of the pride are back in Rogue. This time the stakes are even higher. Faythe has become the first female enforcer in addition to running her own team. Recently there has been a wake of dead tom bodies showing all over the place. As if tracking down a killer didn’t keep Faythe busy enough. A blast from Faythe’s past has reappeared in her life and it isn’t no happy reunion. What happens next will leave you in shock.

Rogue is the second book in Rachel Vincent’s werecat series. Just like the first book, Rogue has all the same great things you loved about Stray except for twice as good. Faythe is my favorite werecat. We were first introduced to Faythe and her tough as nails attitude in Stray. Now in Rogue, Faythe is back and better then ever. This series just keeps getting better and better as it goes. The twist that Ms. Vincent threw in this book was fantastic. I did not expect this curve-ball. Rachel Vincent is a refreshing new voice in the paranormal genre. I anxiously await Pride the next book in this series.
