It was ok… I didn’t really like the characters or the plot. In the first book, I liked the vampire guy, esther, and her storyline. But in this book, I don’t like the main character (I can’t even remember her name), the other love interests (It’s nothing personal but I just didn’t care), or her storyline.

Kathryn Moon always manages to make me fall in love with every single man she writes for the FMC, it's honestly insane. I love them all so much.

Moreover, I fucking loved the part where Marius, Esther and her men appeared in this book !<3 Been missing them all a lot. Yet another well written Moon book with the perfect balance between smut and plot. Can't wait to read the next one ❤

Honestly nowhere near as fun as the first book. It felt a little paint-by-numbers after reading the first--the lady is going to pick up a collection ~5 of monsters, feel kinda guilty about it, decide to date all of them, and then fall in love.

I enjoyed the romances and how all the characters came together. I like how open everyone was and accepting of each others kinks and desires. The overall plot was pretty simple and it was easy to deduce who the danger was.
My only pet peeve was that one of Hazel's lovers called her Nut (Hazelnut) which irked me to no end. But whatever. It's stupid.
Over all really enjoyed this and will probably reread it many times.

I'd like to preface - I understand why so many people like this book. The author is an amazing writer and the character pool is so large that anyone can find their niche/kink. I think I made the mistake going into this book expecting something more plot driven, rather (what felt like) pure smut.
The overall premise of the story is interesting! Someone is going around killing female women linked to the Company of Fiends - and it's up to Hazel and her rag tag group of lovers to stop the killer.
Unfortunately, the killer is exactly who you'd expect. Despite being built up as this big bad villain in an impenetrable fortress - Hazel and her crew are able to bring the Brisha's entire building to ruin in only a single chapter. It just didn't feel realistic?
But it's also just a personal pet peeve when a conflict that takes 400+ pages to build on is finished in only a couple of pages.
I feel bad for giving this book such a low rating, but it just really wasn't for me. I would still recommend it to others, just with a better understanding of what to expect when you go into it.
