This was a disappointing read. I keep seeing people say not to read this at night and I am 99% sure they are getting paid to say it. The art and lettering were amazing, though.

So creepy and so good! These are all dark and twisted fairy tale-type stories--very grim indeed. No happily ever afters in this collection, but I really enjoyed the combination of horror fiction and horrific art. This is one of the few books I've read recently that I want to reread. I feel like it's the type of book to reveal new meaning with each reading.

This is my first graphic novel ever …. Creepy, crawly, disturbing, unsettling, odd … the whole thing just on a different plane. I got so engrossed I forgot where I was. The horror is suggested right up to the edge where you mind can take over and make it worse. Highly recommend, just maybe not before bed.

I’m so happy I bought this! Such beautiful art and creepy stories. A perfect way to experience fairy tale inspired stories with a gothic vibe.
