When I stumbled upon Little Britain in college, I loved the sketches I saw right away. So when I got the chance to read Matt Lucas' autobiography through Netgalley, I took it gleefully with both hands!

I loved reading this book. The writing style is a bit chaotic, exactly like I could imagine Matt himself. Meanwhile, he is not afraid to point out both positive and negative aspects of his life so far.

I did not always love reading this book. It made me a little weary of reading in itself sometimes, because it was chaotic.

As you can read, my view on this autobiography is a bit mixed. It is overall positive though, and it made me want to watch Lucas' work again!

Interesting and witty anecdotes but a lot of sadness there too

I really liked learning about Matt Lucas! He's such a character, and I loved getting to see his gentleness and humanity. If you like Little Britain or Come Fly With Me, I'd definitely recommend reading.

Been looking for another read and thought would give this a whirl and let’s say it didn’t disappoint.

Matt literally goes through everything in his up to the point of this being written and it’s full of stories and characters.. he talks about his shows he’s done, the people he meets and if you listen to it on audible we even have a half way song!

Definitely a more light hearted book and a really enjoyable listen!
