Definitely a slow burn but I thoroughly enjoyed that. I liked figuring out the bits and pieces of the story along the way. The framework of the story is also really unique in that I got so invested in the time-period part of the book that I completely forgot about Etsy. So when we did finally return to her, it was a big “oh yeah!” moment for me.
