I feel like reading the classic starts version gave me a good foundation for understanding the stories of King Arthur. I definitely want to give the original stories a try now.

I knew I would find this book interesting, but I didn’t expect to be so invested! This book might be written in a old fashioned way, but the stories, the characters and the magic - it’s amazing. I LOVE this book, and I know I will reread it thousands of times.
I cannot even explain how emotionally devoted I am to this book. The love I feel for most of the characters, and the hate I feel for Gawaine (even though he is supposed to be a “good guy”, and is one of the most famous knights).
I am sad I am done reading this book, and I can’t wait to read more of Howard Pyle’s books on King Arthur.

I loved the characters and the adventures. There were times when this book was repetative, some books that bothers and some it doesn't, this was one of the books were it didn't.

Thoughts:
I found this very insightful. As a person who has adored the legend of King Arthur and has researched it many times, I didn’t know what to expect going into the text. I didn’t know if I would dislike it or find it boring. Solely due to knowing too much. However, I throughly enjoyed listening to the audiobook of this text. And loved the way it was written. There is an extra bonus on how beautiful the cover is.

How I read/listened to the text:
Ended up listening to an audio book as a read alongside the novel. Which eventually just lead me to listen to the audio book as I went for a walk. I tend to speed up audiobooks so I finish the text faster than I would have if I just read it (I’m a slow reader).

Reading this has the same vibe as watching The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938).
